Data Deletion & User Data Handling Policy – AstroSoul

At AstroSoul, we respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. Below is a summary of the types of data we collect and how users can request its deletion.

1. Data We Collect

We may collect and store the following types of user data:

a. Personal Identifiers

• Name and Email Address (via Google Sign-In or manual registration)
• Phone number
• Unique User ID (UID) for account identification

b. Astrological Information

• Date of Birth
• Time of Birth
• Place of Birth
• Gender

This information is required to generate accurate astrological readings.

c. Financial / Transaction Information

• Payment proof images/screenshots uploaded by users
• Transaction status (e.g., pending, under verification, completed)

d. Audio & Media

• Voice notes recorded and stored for consultations
• Images uploaded (such as payment proofs or related content)

e. Device & App Activity

• Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) tokens for push notifications
• Chat logs between users and astrologers

2. Data Deletion Request

Users have the right to request deletion of their account and associated data.

To request data deletion:

• Send an email to: astrosoulsupportteam@gmail.com
• Use the subject line: “Data Deletion Request”
• Must include your registered email ID and Phone number used in our app.

3. Processing Time

• All data deletion requests are processed manually within 7 business days
• You will receive a confirmation once your data has been permanently deleted

• Once deleted, your data cannot be recovered
• Some data may be retained temporarily if required for legal or security purposes
